In 2011, the four star Hyatt Regency in Montreal (Quebec, Canada) reopened after an 11 million dollar renovation of the public areas, including the lobby and the beautiful SIX Resto Lounge. The new interior design repositions the hotel as the art hotel in the city’s cultural district; Le Quartier des Spectacles. Therese Virserius Design is responsible for this renewed interior design and commissioned Desso for the flooring. The success of this concept was proven by the Gold Medal for Les Grands Prix du Tourisme Quebecois Award that the hotel won in April 2012.
